Have a 17 6.2 super duty with 120k on it. Amassing parts for general maintenance, plugs, coil packs, brake pads etc. Looking to go ahead and upgrade the shocks in the process after reading about all the improvements on ride quality when going to Bilstein or Fox units. Truck has the 4x4 package (not FX4). Sitting at stock hight, pondering with going with a leveling kit, but not sold on it yet. Question is, what's the pros and cons of the Bilstein vs Fox products? Cost, performance, etc
Bilstein - better on road, cannot be re-built, but cheaper.. Can get 4 right now at 4WP for 320, where Fox will cost up to double that....
I have had both on different trucks, I currently have bilsteins on my 2019 250, rides very nice for a 3/4 ton.. Had fox's on my Ram 2500 and it was very stiff
