ABS light intermittent

ABS light intermittent
Hello again:
Just purchased a 2004 F250SD 5.4. 180K
When I picked it up, the ABS light was on and brakes worked fine
After driving about 40 miles, the ABS light went out.
On the next start up, the ABS light is back on.
Fuse must be OK if it is going on and off
Differential sensor maybe?
Brake dust on a wheel sensor?
ABS modulator?
