Not a 1 ton

This is not mine nor do I have any connection to it. That said it appears to be in nice shape but hard to tell from just 4 pictures. Unsure about a title but if I was looking for another divorce I'd make the 400 mile drive and check it out. Maybe Gus has another diesel he could transplant and start hauling some serious lumber again?

1 1/2 ton..... or could be a two ton. Ain't no 122" tonner. I'm pretty much done with the BIG trucks. I have had 3 modelAA's a '32 BB, a 34 BB, a '37 1 1/2 ton , a '47 1 1/2 ton. Slow and soooo rough riding. It's a 24 mile round trip to town and my kidneys can no longer take the pounding..... Not saying I don't like the way they look. Beautiful Rigs!

That is exactly why I sold the three '40 1 1/2 tons I had. One was a driver cab and chassis with an 8ba and a Watson 3 speed but without a bed it beat you to death just driving on a paved road. Add in the 158" wheel base and it was a PITA to drive anywhere. My '39 p/u makes much more sense BUT I still have a soft spot for the '40/'41 big trucks. Still this one looks like it would make someone a nice truck, just not me.
