Hey y'all I couldn't find an answer to this on the forum but... Anyone have any ideas? I've got one I blew 12ish years ago. It still turns by hand with a little effort and there's no holes in the block or anything. I think it's a bearing or something like that. Anyway would it be better to part it out or sell it whole? What would the prices be like for both options? Thanks!
My 2 cents: You will be lucky to find someone to haul it off. You could strip it down, clean up some parts and sell them off. Other than that from what you described it's a core.
If you are building a 390, I would keep it until your new engine is running. It is possible you might need something off of it, like a cam plate or rockers or something.
360/390 is the same block. If that block is sound and not overbored, it is usable for someone. But just check reman'd engine sites and see what their core charge is for an FE. That will give you the high side number for a non-runner.
