Here is a video I put together showing some of the process to install an F150 floor shifter in a 2020 F250 Tremor. This will apply to other years with minor adjustments. I know some of the first questions will be why, and the simplest answer is because I wanted to. But when my wife asks it is because I greatly prefer the floor shifter playing in the dunes. Plus, I wanted to. This will also be helpful if you are needing to remove parts of the console for any reason, or if you were curious what is inside.
The column is fine for putting it in drive but I miss the the floor shifter for manually going through the gears. I have had a floor shifter from 2004-2021.
What shifter cable did you use? Where did you get the covers for the steering column?

Didn't see your questions back then, and I'm sure you're probably not around anymore, but for future readers, I used PN: FL3Z-7E395-E for the shift cable. It's a little long, but can be routed to fit.
I did not change the covers on my steering column.
i did this upgrade in my 19 xlt. Instead of buying a whole console I 3d printed some spacer plates with holes for the cupholder/shifter plate clips to lock into. Saved little money in not having to replace the whole console just glued the spaces in and replaced the top trim plate. If anyone wants the STL just pm me, it won't let me post it here.

Where/how did you do the 12" Sync upgrade? Expensive? Use this kit?

I replaced the following kit parts with oem parts, the apim they send is a knock off and known to have issues, the screen is a knock off and known to fail, the ac controls do not come with the kit. I don't recommend it as it's not 100% working as you will loose functions like fordpass, heated mirrors/backglass, navigation, and 360 cam on screen soft buttons, they say all this stuff is fixed with the 2025 kit but they won't sell the parts/programming to anyone who they can't confirm originally bought the kit from them(really shady). I got my used kit off FB marketplace for 500, lots of used kits for sale as people are sick of trying to get it to work properly. IMO the best kit would be use fordsync4 plastic trim and screen mount and infotainments upgrade kit as infotainment uses oem parts and has more of the functions figured out and working.
