I know its not what you are going to want to hear but I myself tried this and the thing went flying off the truck at 55mph and shattered into a million pieces. I wasn't happy.

As others have said it will eat your grill, so you might as well drill holes in the hood. Not trying to be an @ss, just seen a lot of chewed up grills from them. They do look old school cool though.
