Supercab Flipout Windows???

I’m restoring a 75 Supercab with flip out back side windows. Installing glass time. Both sides the top hinge post is solid and he bottom wiggles, is this correct? Should they both be solid? How do you install ? Put the plastic hinge on the post and then push the glass assembly in the cab? Any trips or tricks on installing?

You’re installing them correctly. There’s a little bit of a clip on both sides of the plastic where it retains itself on the inside of the pillar. If these are used pieces then the sharpness of the retainer is usually gone through removal process. If you have one loose you should replace it. When you take the window out again you might hurt the one that is tight.

I looked recently and found either JBG, NPD, or Dennis Carpenter had em and around $11 ea. Recommendation, get new and they will be tight and not leak.
