1968 N600 VIN decode

Well Im back with a another Ford but much bigger than my old 67 F250. I just picked up this 1968 N series. I think it's a N600 but I am not 100% sure.

I would really appreciate a VIN decode please. The seller was gifted the truck and knew very little about it.

Exciting 300 mile trip from Nebraska.

Much larger in real life......lol

Is there any go to replacement wheels to toss these spot rims? I would like to stay with 20s to keep the look.

Thanks again

Numberdummy has not been on for a few weeks. Not sure what, if anything, is going on there.

As to your wheels, the LF wheel has a locking ring. Those wheels are safe and usable. You just need to find a truck tire place that knows how to work on them. Check the rest of your wheels. Locking ring = ok wheel.

Tubeless wheels in 22.5" with the 6 lug pattern are hard to find. There are several threads here regarding wheels. Many have "widowmaker" in the title. I'll try to find a couple for you. I have a project cooking myself right now so I have not been here as often as usual.

Truckdog62563 has placed numerous links in this thread, most or all dealing with wheels.

Truck is an N600. That's all I know for now without doing some searching.

It's nice the Ford truck pushed that Chevy home....JK
