A/C Condenser Removal?

A/C Condenser Removal?
2005 E350 w/5.4 gasser engine
About to dig into replacing my A/C condenser, I've replaced radiators, fan clutches, water pumps etc but never a condenser. From an initial look I don't think the radiator has to come out once the hoses are disconnected. I'm totally okay to remove anything making the exchange no more than a two day weekend affair but curious what's the experience of those who've done this themselves?
FWIW I've deleted the factory rear air crap so the receiver/dryer and high pressure hoses have been replaced in the last 18 months. If possible those who have direct experience in this operation would be most helpful---I can speculate and "think it's like this..........." thoughts all by myself
