Towing capacity
I'm trying to figure out what my payload and towing capacity is for a 2017 5.0 4x4 vin# 1FTEW1EF0HKD44046

Googling that vin, looks to be This Truck here. As mentioned, your yellow sticker will get you close to payload. The best method is to weigh the truck and subtract from your GVWR of 7,000
What I was able to gather from the photos/description:

- SCrew 145" WB Truck
- 5.0 & 4x4
- Axle code 27 = 3.31 gears
- The description states "tow package" - That could be:
- If equipped with tow package is 53B (Medium duty tow package) then your tow capacity if 5,000lbs
- If equipped with tow package 53A (HD Tow package) then your tow capacity is 8,900lbs. Keep in mind above 5k, you need a weight distribution hitch.
- Above per the towing guide here
- Payload is quickly consumed by Trailer tongue weight and needs to be accounted for.
- Wheels/ tires are a wildcard, I can not speak to the carrying capacity of either
