Well, to tow anything close to that maximum, you'll need to be using a good Weight Distributing hitch, and be very careful about how you set up your trailer and truck loads. Many people have reported running out of weight capacity truck before they run into the max trailer weight.
It also depends on how comfortable you are towing, and how often you plan on doing it.
I don't think anyone would reccomend towing right at that 11,000lbs on a daily basis, but for occasional use, I would have no issue running right up to the listed max.
