Need recommendations for project
I have been to forums for over a year and searched high and low for ideas. Please don’t waste my time or anyone else’s by posting bs. I need logical answers. I have a 2002 ford ranger xl 2wd 3.0 that I’ve literally just finished replacing everything killing time. Tires, brakes, suspension, filters, belts, starter, headers, spark plugs, wires, I’m talking about everything under the body. It’s done right, runs perfect. Not my every day driver, just something cheap and easy I jumped into. Anyways before you ask why start a project, I don’t care about anything except what 1949-1957 ford body will fit on it? Or best suggestion for further research? I’d literally like to take the body off, cut around the fire wall of a bucket and make my Frankenstein in place around the existing firewall, yes I can fab anything? Just looking for ideas for my fishing truck. Thank you

I think a Ranger chassis would be narrow for a 1949-1957 body. You might want to ask around over in the "1948 - 1956 F1, F100 & Larger F-Series Trucks" or "1957 - 1960 F100 & Larger F-Series Trucks" forums.
