Post Daily Driver Project

I have a new daily driver. Its a gift from my wife earlier this year. A 1984 Ford F150 with a 302 and a 2bbl carb all original. Very Basic truck. Has the AOD transmission. Air Conditioning...which i am 50/50 on fixing it. You can buy those units that mount under the dash all self contained pretty reasonably priced ive been told.
Right now the plans is to just make it a dependable daily driver.
I started with the rubber. On the front I have Euzkadi Eurosport ZR 225/50/zr16. Still need new shoes for the rear. Right now still has the 235/75/15 that came with the truck. I still need 2 more 16 in rims, steel; and thinking about some 295/50/16 of some sort.
I have no plans to do much body work. Its past life it was a farm/feed truck so it looks sort of cool looking rough like that...lol
I will slowly spend some money on interior pieces like the dash top and headliner....stuff like that. I will need to add a decent tach and some sort of gauge pack that Ill install where the radio used to be. I plan on just having a Bluetooth speaker in the truck and stream from my phone.
So far I have done the bare minimum to get it to pass inspection. Lots of new fuses, quite a few new bulbs, new front tires and repaired some wiring so i have taillights.

After only driving it twice I have learned I will need some radiator work and the charging system is pooie...
I only work 1.3 miles from work so I decided to work on the charging issue first. Winter is coming I can wait on the radiator replacement.
I went basic and started with a new battery. That did not solve the issue. Later in the day I needed a jump just so I could go home.
Next I ordered a alternator and voltage regulator. Still no charging to the battery. So its time to look a bit closer at the wiring I think. I will post more later but this is my greeting!
I will post this as a question later on if I am not successful.

Feel free to contact me about my project or yours
