I just finished up my zf5 swap into my 92 f150 it seems to run and drive just fine shifts like butter and dosing seem to have any weird sounds but my stering wheel now shakes while driving and if I push in my clutch it stops I'm not quite sure what would cause this
Try rotating the tires, If it changes, its tire balance. Do you have a steering dampener? If so, maybe its worn out, if not Maybe add one. Also, check the steering gear for adjustment. There should be almost no freeplay when rocking the wheel back and forth.

I almost agree. Adding a steering stabilizer would only be a Band-Aid solution to the problem. A worn steering gear would allow a lot of on center slip in the wheel. It wouldn’t cause a shake.
What concerns me is the vibrations in the steering wheel and truck completely stop when the clutch is pushed in could tires really cause something like that or a steering gea
The clutch making it settle down is just weird. If the steering was whupped or the tires were cupped I wouldn't expect the clutch to make any difference at all. Does it change if you get on/off the gas (load related, maybe U joints), or only with the clutch? 4x4 disengaged, hubs unlocked? Does it shake just sitting there or only at speed?
the u joints a brand new on the drivline but the front ones are old and used it shakes a little while at idle but it always has when I accelerate or just cruse in 2 to 4 it shakes pretty good and 5 it evens out at higher speeds and if I romp on it or doesn't vibrate in any gear it's not in 4x4 nor are the hubs locked
