THere are some wireless cameras that are wifi-- and you can use it with the kids tablet-- Kinda weird but I put the tablet in the camper facing the cab through the window-- then iI can look in my rear center view mirror for hooking up the trailer.
Okay, I ordered the wireless backup camera that will sync with my Garmin GPS. I can wire it either to just work in reverse or i can wire it with constant power. I am thinking constant, but am not completely decided. it will be here Wednesday. Not much to install it. After all the positive statements about having one from you guys, I better love it or you all are toast!!
Our rear camera (on the 5th wheel) is on all the time we are driving. I like being able to see behind me, plus the wide angle shows left and right lanes.

RV Tech... what model Garmin GPS do you have? I’m looking for a GPS Unit with a Front facing Camera.
thanks

the Nuvi model I have is no longer in production, but Garmin makes several models with front facing cameras. On their website they have a list of their models which are capable of linking to their BC-30 backup camera so you can kind of use that as a cross reference while looking for their models with front facing cameras.

Thanks Steve, I think the Garmin 785 RV GPS looks like it will give me what I need. Plus it’s a 7” screen.
Got the Garmin BC-130 wireless backup camera installed. Camera install is simple enough and links right up to Garmin Navi on dash. It took a while to get the wiring hidden, but the install looks pretty good. Picture is sharp enough. Power is constant through a switch I added feeding off the power supply from the camper batteries. I used a lighted switch so I would not forget and leave it on. Now all I have to do is put the Garmin in the camper and we have a backdoor security camera when we are camped. Will try it out this weekend.
