Paint damage from tires/offset
Curious if you guys are seeing paint damage when the wheels/tire stick outside the body? Assuming if you have stationary running boards it may not be an issue but what abut for those with automatic folding running boards?

At some point, paint damage “should” be expected by an owner who installs “oversized” wheels and tires that are sticking out beyond the fenders regardless of the type of running boards.

Around where I live, I see a lot of trucks with the wider stance, lift kit and mudders but they’ll never see anything beyond a rough city street. Can’t imagine they see a lot of body damage from the wider stance. Just saying it will have a lot to do with how you use the truck.
