2003 ford E450 super duty, have no right side turn signal lights on dash or truck, no hazards either, just left side works. replaced bulbs, relay and switch. when right side is turned on, relay makes funny sound and an accational fast click. when hazards are turned on makes normal clicking sound with no lights. Left side works as it should. Any idea what I should do next. Thanks
Sounding more like a ground issue as the issue only applies to the right side lights. Give us a pic under hood and under doghouse to see if any obvious wiring issues are extant.
If you have running lights the ground for the front should be good.
You might try piercing the wire near the bulb socket and checking for voltage when the lights are on, could have a bad socket. Did you inspect wires at the light for previous repairs or damage?
Did you check Fuse #5 under the hood? I think thats only the rear lights, but it is specifically R/H.
Have you checked the trailer light connection to see if that has R/H lights?
The White/Lt Blue light from the combination switch goes to the front lights and instrument indicator. If you don't have power there, but the L/H lights work I don't see anything other than a switch or connector issue. I';d test the connector for continuity and solid connection. If you can, try to wiggle the pigtail to the combination switch with the signal on and see if it changes anything.
