Carb issues?

76 Bronco. I had a Edelbrock carb and engine was shutting down from idle to gear or coming to stops. Tried many things before changing to a brand new Holly carb. Ran great when first changed and now it’s doing the same. Changed the ignition modular. Fired right up, ran good, then same issue again.
Looking at utube, trying to self teach...messed with idle again didn’t help. I can play with Vacuum valve I guess, but it’s a brand new carb and I am a rookie greenhorn when working with engines. Any help or resource videos please?

Classic Bronco is a much busier forum, I mean we all try to help as much as possible. But we are not at the level of exposure to Bronco owners as that site.

Are you sure the fuel pump is good? Any inline fuel filters? Is the tank clean, pick up tube filter sock installed?

Air....fuel....fire (elec). The big 3 to check.

If you have a large vacuum leak, yes it will run like crap. What type of 4bbl intake do you have on it? Aftermarket aluminium or ?
