Anybody know you sells (if any) bed patches for 1965-66 F100? I only find 1967 on up. Seems like all there is are cab patches, bed sides, tailgates etc. for '65-66 but no bed patches
Someone else will also post, regarding bed floors that are a close match. I don't know which are such, but I don't think anyone reproduces the exact rib pattern from the 65-66.

Carolina Classics says nobody makes them. Really don't know why. I need about a 6" wide piece the width of the bed. I think it's 49". Carolina does have the headboard and cross member (either attached or separate depending what you need) I need neither. Figures the part I need nobody makes. Looks like it's time to find a donor to cut a piece out.
If you can find a donor in your area. I do have about a 3-foot by 4-foot rectangular section that I saved for such a situation. You could cut it into strips and it would be enough metal for your situation. However, I am in California and shipping it might be rather expensive. Maybe you should keep me updated as to what you can find.
There is an outfit in Fla. that makes a bed floor. There was a link to them in an old thread. I don't have it or remember the name. If I remember correctly it is rolled just like siding is so it doesn't have the indentations that the original has, but it did have the correct pattern.. seems like it was $750. If you do an advanced search or a google search you should be able to find them. They may have some pieces available.
I feel your pain Hasting..I have the same situation.....Need about same 7x49 for my 65. Even the auto salvage here won't sell any parts off bed..it's all or nothing.
Where in CA you be resonateur? I'm up near Red Bluff/ Redding.......
If you hear of anybody who is shortening a LWB Styleside box to fit a SWB chassis, they will have enough from their cuts to help you, but it's a matter of finding them, and their location being close enough to make shipping viable..........there is a classifieds section elsewhere on FTE, but it seems underused?

How much do you want for it. I'm in Tampa but when you need it you need it. I have been looking for awhile and like others have said... it's all or nothing.
Hasting;
I saved it just in case someone needed it. You're someone (the first who showed a need). If you opt out, I'll save it for mulegal. I just need to dig it out, measure it, weigh it and see how much it will cost to UPS...or whatever method. Make sure it will suit your needs. I'm not charging for it. The shipping is punishment enough. I'll get the details to you and post a photo. Meanwhile, keep looking. Something closer to you would certainly be more convenient. There also may be a member down south who's parting trucks. Check the FTE classifieds.

To That's what we're dealing with. Actually 5" wide from the bed cut to the headboard. 49" wide.
This piece is about two feet by four feet. I cut a gas filler lid out of it for my project, and partially a second lid which is incompletely cut out. If you were to need 7-inch strips and squared things up, working around the cut-outs, you could probably get ten feet of repair strips. If you need 8-inch strips, it might not yield as many. It would probably ship cheaper if I were to cut it into 2-foot squares, otherwise it might be oversize. Keep me posted.
