I'm interested in a '95 CCLB DRW F350 2WD with 7.3 and 5 sp. Guy said someone removed the "fuel system actuator" -- something that's attached to fuel bowl. He said the part was about $100. I'm somewhat familiar with the 7.3 (had a 2003 Excursion for several years) but this doesn't ring a bell.
Any ideas? Just trying to figure out what this is and how much it will cost to replace, and how difficult.
Maybe he is talking about the fuel pressure regulator? Just plan for efuel and be done with it. I hope you are getting a good price since it does not run.

He said it bolts to the side of the fuel bowl with 3 bolts. Between the fuel pump and fuel bowl. Sounds like regulator to me, but I'm not sure about the 3 bolts.
efuel is definitely an option, but would be on down the line.
The fuel bowl does have 3 holes on the side. Two for the regulator to mount and one for the fuel to pass between the bowl housing and regulator. Sounds like that is what he is referring to
Thanks for the input. Now I need to find one. Doesn't look like anyone is selling these new, unless you're buying a complete new fuel bowl. Didn't see any on eBay. Anyone got any ideas besides a junkyard?
