People are often posting here, the best way to convert their truck to power steering, disc/power brakes and such. The "veterans" here almost always say the same thing, "find a donor for all the parts you need". I followed that advice when I built my '66, and I'm very glad that I did. Here's a good candidate from Craigslist, in the California desert, just in case someone is contemplating this dilemma. For 1500 bucks...a dry climate truck with an FE and all the parts you need to upgrade your slick!! No title, who cares.... Plus, this one has the old A/C pump and bracket for the FE. In addition, if you're creative, you can part out all the sheet metal to the guys on the 73-79 forum and probably get your money back....
