I was going to install my Carli Track bar and I noticed when I torqued down the gold jam nut it doesn't fully tighten flush. Anyone have a picture of their track bar installed or notice something similar. I didn't have a crow's foot to tighten it so I didn't have a torque wrench but I tightened it as tight as I could get it with a long adjustable wrench so it should be plenty tight. Thanks a lot.

Track bar torque is over 400 Ft Lbs so you need a long cheater on your wrench or you need to take it to a shop and have it torqued properly. My torque wrench for setting 400+ Ft Lbs is 41” long.

The jam nut is only 200 ft lbs. To the frame is 400.
Give Carli a call and let them know what is going on. When I did mine a year ago the directions mentioned that this jam nut style was a new design. Maybe it is possible the taper machined into the end of the bar is not correct? Hope you get this sorted quickly. Everything with my kit was spot on.
Contacted Carli, they said that is how it's supposed to be. Said it's part of the design. I don't know why yours fully tightened and mine won't, maybe it's a different lock nut design again.
