My LED replacement thread
Okay so here it is set up with the set screws in, the gasket and the spacer.
The spacer on under the gasket.
Don't forget to use the dielectric grease that comes with the kit. You'll only need to use one as that's plenty for both sides.
That's the end that goes into the adapter for the OEM bulb socket.
Double check to see if the polarity is right before you heat up the shrink tube. I also replaced the side bulbs with the LED bulbs I used in my cab lights.
The amber LED bulbs I'm using for the corner lens and cab lights.
Installed
This is the way I set up for the right side. It actually was the way I went with both. The spacer pulls the bulb too far back into the front housing. Had to pull the left out and change it up.
Shot of the driver side with spacer. Pulls it too far back. I thought the passenger side was brighter without the spacer...
The passenger side... without spacer.
Since I was there, I reapplied the NOCO NCP2 terminal goop. Good $h1T indeed.
All buttoned up and ready to go...
Running light....
This was the before pic...
The after shot... 1400 lumens...for the blinking signal.
Running light again.
Getting darker, better shot of full power.
It really fills up the housing was better than the stock bulb. Running light.
I will say that they appear more yellow than amber but they are really bright... I mean real bright when the turn signal function is on.
EDIT:

I am very happy with them but they are more yellow than amber. They will probably match the Diode Dynamics yellow fog lights fairly well when I get them. I will also get more of a yellow LED 194 bulb for the cab lights to better match as well. Probably will get amber VLEDs194 bulbs to match the 3157s in the headlight housings. These cheaper amber bulbs from Amazon are bright and look amber, but have a short life. When I do, I'll post up.

Go to this post where it shows the pics of the cargo lights which are 921 912 bulbs.:

I can't remember if I posted pics of the reverse lights or not, but these are the reverse lights I have and they are very bright.
If you would like, I can take a pic of them. The bulbs in our reverse housings are 921/912s.
These are the ones (cargo bulbs) in the pic:
You can't do a Triton V6 for our reverse lights. The base adapters options are 7440, 3157, 4157, 1156, 1157. Ours are the 921or 912 bulbs.
Here's the options on vleds.com for 912/921 LED bulbs:

As for reverse lights check this out: I bought this but just haven't put it on yet. I still have to get the frame. I decided after I want the frame now.

One side note from your other thread you had talked about Atomic LED roof lights, did you ever end up getting those? You were looking for a pic of smoked ones I think.

Okay, I just went outside to take some pics for you.
Here's the MAXGTRs 921 912 50watt LED bulbs. $22 on Amazon. Pretty damn bright.
Lights up the bed very well.
Here's the Luyed 921 912 bulbs for like 15 ish for 2 I believe...
These cheap Amazon LED bulbs do the trick. I've had the Luyeds since 2018 and they were in the cargo housings in the 3rd brake light housing. The MAXGTRs I ordered last fall and put in the Cargo light housings. Then I threw the Luyeds in the reverse lights.
Here's some pics of the LP series for mounting over the rear license plate.
Nicely machined piece of aluminum with the LEDs waterproof mounting.
1800 lumens worth of 5500k LEDs. Can't wait to see it in action...
Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
As for the front Tritons 3157s, I am looking at Lamin X for not only covering the entire headlight housings in a clear film as I've wanted to do that for some time now, but doing the top half in an amber film to make those "amber" Triton Extremes more amber looking instead of yellow. Plus it'll look like no other 11 to 16 out there. I just gotta figure out how much I need of each.

EDIT
Here's what else they offer for our gen trucks.
I'm thinking of going with the light tint on the rear taillight housings as I now have really bright LEDs in there.

It's part of the LP Series from VLEDs.
Stickers I ordered.
With the LED light in place where it's machined on top for it to fit there.
A little customization of the grommet that was on the line before the plug to protect the wire from the frame.
The LED light where it rides on top of the frame.
Tight fit.
Installation coming soon. Adding another 1800 lumens of reverse lights soon. Why?? Because I can.

One black cover installed.

Got a bug in my @$$ and wanted to run them as the faded out OEM amber covers were brighter with the LED but looked chessy.
All smoked lens...
Same...

I really dug how bright the cab lights were with the LEDs and Amber factory covers. At low light and night time, I liked how those lights would light up the hood and the surroundings with amber light. But they just looked old and faded in the daytime. The smoked lens while not as bright as the amber lens, still look good at night and I like the look of them in daytime.
Still have to mount the rear VLEDs LED reverse light and plate frame. I'll post up when I do.
I pulled the trigger for their 25% Thanksgiving sale on their 921 bulbs. I'll provide more info after I post this about the cheaper Lasfit, IIRC, 921 bulbs I bought on Amazon last year that did not last at all. They look like the Diode Dynamics 921 bulbs that I have in my rear brake light housings for the reverse light bulbs. I'll provide pics as I do believe the DD bulbs are still working. I also want to make sure the VLEDs 921 bulbs will work in the rear housings which I believe they willt want to double check, and maybe pull the trigger for their Xmas sale.
Standby for pics as this is my laptop. For some weird reason, my phone will not send photos to my email and I have not taken it in yet to AT&T.
Here is the LED replacement thread for my cab lights, with more info for those, from the 99 to 16 Super Duty section.
