I recently upgraded my cargo lights and my 3rd brake light to LED bulbs. I commented on a older resurrected LED thread. I'll link to it once I post this because I provided pics and links. Any other questions, just let me know.
I have other plans for the other bulbs as well but I will start this off with my new 194 amber LED bulbs I installed last night. They are from MAXGTRS, the same manufacturer of the 921 bulbs I put in the cargo light housings.
From left, the first two stock and last three LED...
All LEDS....
Now the question will be how long they last but they sure are bright and I like how the contacts are thicker instead of just a wire. I will keep upgrading as I go and will update this thread as I do. Enjoy.
I was in of the process of switching over to LED. I started to have blown bulbs ended up changing over to a LED relay for the flashers which fixed that problem so far.

Front right marker light and turn signal kept going out. Not sure if it was wiring, socket, led, fuse or relay. The only places I was changing then was the continuous or marker lights. Starting thinking that maybe using Led in some places and not all was causing purging. But changing the relay stopped it.

I figured that was what you were talking about. I found these plug and play harnesses for the LED bulbs on the PUTCO website. I may go with a set if I decide to do a cheaper set of 3157 LED bulbs to try.
These are the ones I want for my front and rear bulbs but they are not cheap. That's why I may buy the PUTCO harnesses...to try with a cheaper Amazon 3157 LED bulb set.
I tried a few led bulbs in my cab roof lights, they were a bit brighter but within 6 months a few leds had either gone out or started to flicker, I ended up ordering the Atomic led lights with built in strobes. The ones that you have used appear to be far better quality than the ones I had. I've been very happy with the Atomic lights.

You talking the cab lights from wickedwarnings.com ? Do you mind posting a picture or two of them please? I'm interested in the smoked amber ones. I've been checking out wicked warnings because when I get my plow, I definitely want strobes...
Thanks.

The site won't accept a video (wrong format) but here's a still. They ain't cheap but........they sure are bright. They also do an led third brake light/bed light with strobes.
Thanks for the pic. Yep, Wicked Warnings sells the Atomic LED clearance lights.
I'll post some more pics tomorrow. Mine are very bright. Tonight was the first time I drove the truck in the dark. You could actually see the hood and bug cover bathed in the orange light from the cab lights. Time will tell how long they last. Those Atomics are sweet though and look like they are worth the cost. How long have you had them?

I fitted them over a year ago, the only thing I will say is that the factory lights are not quite flat on the base, to match the slight curve of the roof where they sit. The Atomic lights are flat, they are a bolt in replacement & I was a little nervous tightening up the nuts to compress the rubber/plastic gasket to make them seal, but they do, I've had no issues with water ingress & we do get some rain here! I'm going to order one of their 3rd brakelights soon. I bought one from eBay to match my led tail lights but it's really not very bright.

I've read complaints about the smoked lens and housings sold on Amazon... That they leak because they are flat and the roof isn't. But I did hear on a video on Wicked Warnings that the Atomic lights were updated because they had a sealing problem. I'll post a pic of my cargo/3rd brake lights later. Thanks for commenting.

These are from last night when I got home from dinner with my sons. I'm like a kid with a new toy with these LEDs....
It kind of amazes me how much light the stock 194 bulbs throw off in the clearance lights on the mirror. I'll probably change to these to better match the color of the amber LEDs on top. I also found that PUTCO makes a resistor harness for the 194s so I will also do the mirror turn signals to prevent hyper flash.
Those cab lights illuminate the basketball net.
These are the 912 921 MAXGTRS bulbs in my cargo light housings.
From this morning on the drive to work. Those LEDs bath the front of the truck in a amber glow.

Okay so I ordered a cheap set of Chicom made smoked cab light lenses. They are decent but don't seem to fit as tight as the OEM ones. Since the one I mounted really toned down the brightness of the amber LEDs I have in the housings, I decided to not use them. Here's some pics. I may buy a cheap headlight restore kit to shine up the OEM ones or try a different brand of the amber aftermarket covers.
How they arrived...
They seem slimmer and more boxier than the OEMs.
The smoked lens cover just deemed the light way too much for my liking. They look great when off though.
