Tailgate Not flush When Closed

Tailgate Not flush When Closed

My tailgate might need an adjustment it looks like this when closed, anyone have any experience with this?

Well take the gap distance and move the latch pin on the body inward the same amount and it should get you very close. You can fine tune it as needed.

The biggest Torx wrench I have is a T40 and its too small. Will get to the auto parts store and pick one up sooner than later and will hopefully be able to tell you.

Maybe someone else here already knows.

You need a T50. Not sure the pin moves much, you might need to adjust it on the tailgate itself???

once u loosen the pins they move in or out..not much but they do move...enough to adjust the tailgate...i had to adjust mine since mine wasn't flush also
