So took the turbo out to change the down pipes. Finally have new boots and some other parts but I have to ask before I reassemble everything. Is it worth doing a bearing rebuild if I’m not having any issues? Is it worth switching the stock compressor wheel to a riff Raff billet wheel? Truck is used to tow a 5th wheel and I don’t have any issues with how it tows. So would I see any noticeable change, would it be good preventative maintenance. Truck has less than 100k on it.
If you are chipped and fight high EGTs while towing that is the time to start replacing parts while it's already apart. My turbo setup is the KC SXE drop in turbine paired to the RiffRaff 4+4 wheel, made a world of difference towing fighting high EGTs and using any tune that added fuel. But my "worth it" may not be the same as yours

no chip. Pretty much stock minus an AIS. Tows camper fine Egts never get high even on our way to Yellowstone from MD.
Sounds like you are happy as is then. If there is no front to back or side to side play from the shaft, leave er be
The billet wheel cures surge and flutter issues from running tunes, and is nice n quiet. With you being all stock it's probably not an investment you'll see any change from. With the 4+4 and 360* bearing rebuild I gained about 30-40rpm faster boost spooling than stock 270* and stock cast 9 blade
