So for someone with a 19 that was close to buying them, should a guy wait to see if they revise the 17-19 lights?
There won't be a revision to the 17-19 headlights.

However, a hybrid version is coming. The hybrid version will come at a cheaper price point. It will use LED high and low single projectors and will use incandescent turn signals. It will be a downgrade in output and features from the current Morimoto XB Super Duty headlights for the 17-19.
Slightly off topic, but does anyone know if I were to plug factory LED lights into my stock halogen connectors, would I get any light output from the LEDs? Just wanting to verify that the factory LED set is functional. Will it mess anything up on them?

When I was looking into converting to OEM LED's I thought I discovered I needed a new/special harness and ballast for them to function. Not sure about messing them up.

Right. The Retrofit Source has a harness or you can make the changes manually in forscan. I was just wanting to know if they would power up at all with factory connections to test that they work properly before going any farther.
