Need help
So I have a 2014 f350 platinum and I had the engine light turn on and I found out it was my fuel filter it was clogged up I changed it and after a day the engine light turned of I recently bought the hum X for the internet and the obd2 plug is where you plug the hum and it send my phone 2 code that the truck had when the engine light was one before but it supposedly saying that I have the same error codes and my engine light isn’t even on was I suppose to erase the codes after I had fixed the problem even though the engine light was off truck runs fine and perfect

IF, and that's a big IF, I understand you, you had a CEL. You found it was the fuel filter. You changed it. The CEL went away. The truck runs fine. But you can still see the codes.
I think this is normal. Codes are stored for some time.
If it continues to run fine and you have no CEL, you are good.
And please, I know you are probably on a phone, but try to use punctuation, sentences, paragraphs.
Or at least just do bullet points with a space between.
It really helps us understand.

I would opt to just leave the codes since you don't have a proper code reader to remove them.
As long as the check engine light remains off.
For future reference, Drain the water separator monthly and step up your fuel filter changes. If you have never changed them then I would suggest a 15K interval.
If you were changing them at such an interval, then reduce that to a shorter interval.

So I'm 63 never had a clogged fuel filter in any vehicle...Dropped 10 or so tanks and was perfectly clean inside.
So whats in your tank and was the filter clogged ? did you take it apart? If it was clogged whats in the tank?
