2017 Sync issues

2017 Sync issues
I'd say this can all be fixed by updating the system somehow. Anyhow, I'll shoot the question anyway. Have a 2017 XLT with SYNC. Pairs up and functions properly for the most part with the exception of me not being able to play audio on it. (iHeart radio, YouTube, etc). Had it working for a while, and then it will just quit. Performed everything from a soft reset on the SYNC system all the way to disconnecting the battery along with resets in the phone with no luck.

Also, are you using the cord that came with your phone.......very important.
