Minnesota Speeding Ticket ( HELP !!!! )

ok so im driving home from "up north" as we minnesotans call anything north of the cities. following a buddy who was in his camaro and another buddy who was in a lincoln continental.
my like i get stuck behind a truck and seperated a bit from them, so my oppurtunity to pass comes along, and i PASSED... just as a cops comes around the corner and radars me doing 90 in a 55 MPH zone.
can anyone offer any legal advice? i am a CLASS A licensed driver, i have another ticket that drops off my record in this next April, and i have another one that will be on there for a bit longer. i work a full time job and have recently started my own company so if i lose my license i lose everything. to make it worse the speeding ticket has the wrong phone number for the court on it, the sherriffs association cant even get me the right number for the court, and its a mandatory court appearance ~~~140 miles from where i live~~~

any advice????? it would be greatly appreciated. oh, by the way i cant move to a different state !!

Welp you didn't state how many points are on your licence right now? What I would do is:

#1 Call the Henippin County court house and get the right number you need from them.

#2 Call that districts DA's office and ask to speak to the motor courts DA.

#3 Explain to them your situation and request three things.
1) That you will pay all fines ASAP (even pledge a date).
2) That you will attend driving school to lower your total points.
3) That because you are being such an outstanding citizen the speed for the ticket is reduced to 10 MPH over the speed limit (this will also lower the total points for the ticket).

Most DA's are willing to work with you, I've had a couple of drag racing tickets reduced this way, as long as you are willing to show some responciblity.

Correct, most DA's are willing to work with you if you are honest, sincere and have a legit reason. I had an Oklahoma state trooper petition the DA to drop a ticket for 75 in a 65 (I was actually doing 85+) because I was rushing the family to see their terminally ill grand-father. In my case, I didn't even ask, he just petitioned the DA without my knowledge and I got a letter saying the ticket was dropped.
