Anyone else got the message Check Brake System right after starting up truck? If so what was the fix. Dealer reflashed truck the other day and it just did it again this am.
I would start by checking the obvious. See if your fluid is marginally low, look behind wheels for dampness to find a slow leak. Are you parking the truck on a hill when this happens? These are computer controlled beasts so it could be anything, if you have a bluetooth obd adapter or high end scanner check for stored abs codes.

time to replace your batteries. Just had the same issue, but have had it many times throughout the years along with other false faults at start up. Battery replacement fixed them all.

All of the above has been checked to no avail. Also it occurs when parked on a hill and flat surfaces. Unfortunately I don’t not have an OBD adapter or scanner. However it was just at Ford for a tailgate recall issue they said they scanned it and no codes popped up.

when checking the Batteries should I disconnect them? I read one article that if you have 2 batteries and test them connected you may get a false reading. Any truth to that?
