2000 ford f250 shifter problem
Hello ford enthusiasts. I am having an issue with my truck, its a 2000 ford f250 2wd. The shift linkage on the steering column had snapped so I was able to replace it and it worked well for about a month. The other day I was driving and when i got back home I could not get it out of drive so i had to get under the truck and do it from the transmission. The funny thing is that I am able to put it inot gear with the column shifter, but i cannot get it out of gear. I was thinking that it could be the shifter cable. Any ideas? I also noticed that when I had replaced the shift linkage, it would not go into the first gear on the column. maybe that could be an indication of something?
