Radio

The radio doesn’t have any power going to it. Was working this morning. Turned it off and back on still no power . Checked the fuse on the back of the radio. Checked the fuse on the fuse panel and still good any suggestions

Any reason not to upgrade to a newer stereo at this point? In my 94, and 91 I put in a Sony and a Kenwood single DIN. Used aftermarket wiring harness and install kit. Quick, easy, now have bluetooth, streaming music, all the goodies for a few hours of work.

I agree with puppyf250. I put in a pioneer single din with a USB port and built a custom amp for sound clarity and not for volume although I have 100 watts per channel not 100 x 4
= 25 watts per channel but 400 watts total. With a thumb drive I have over 40 hours of music to listen to with out hearing the same song twice.

My '95 F250, I liked the fact that it still has the AM/FM factory only radio ( F250 XL: ). I actually bought a $10 MP3/ bluetooth transmitter that lights up green, and that's all I use. Spent a little extra on the transmitter so it lit up green to match the dash lol.

you can mod a oem radio with bluetooth inside it if you are handy. plenty of yt videos. op so you will have a switched source and a constant source. check that you have 12 volts on one with key off check the other with key on. if those both work your radio has bit the dust. from there its someone that can solder and so forth.
