where is Iat on 99 sohc

where is Iat on 99 sohc
it says that it is in the intake tube in the hayns manual but it is not there is it built into the maf or something

If reference is to the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor, then it's indeed built into the MAF sensor (on the later models).
