HPFP DRIVE GEAR

OKAY SO HERE I AM ON DAY TWO OF TRYING TO REMOVE THE DRIVE GEAR FOR THE HPFP... The truck is a 2016 F-550. The back story, contaminated fuel in October 19' and was lucky enough to catch it before causing catastrophic damage, all contamination caught by filters. Ended up doing a delete with disaster kit. fast forward to SUNDAY. One of my guys was towing a machine back to the shop and bang (literally) truck dies and pours fuel all over the road. Upon inspection the HPFP has a massive crack on the drivers side and needs to be replaced obviously. This is where it gets interesting... our HPFP drive gear does not have threaded holes for a universal puller. We tried using a puller in reverse fashion to press it out with no luck. Heres my question, does anyone have any ideas aside from having to pull the radiator and being able to swing a sledge on the pump shaft with a punch? timing marks are lined up and keyway is 12 o'clock. I'm at a loss since there's no room to get a gear or pulley puller in there due to tight clearances in front cover.

thanks

This is from the Ford Workshop DVD. Maybe it will shed some light on your problem?

Good luck
