As stated I have a Us gear auxiliary transmission. It is meant to go between a zf5 and transfer case or drum brakes (F-sd)
Any way I had plans for this and am not sure if I will be using it now. Originally I thought it was over drive, but it isn't. If I found an over drive unit it would have to be for a zf5 4x4 as well, nearly impossible I think.
So that leads to the thought of running 3.55 gears in the differential which will lower cruising rpm. In low range it would be similar to having 4.26 gearing, if I did the math correct.
Does anyone here have a us gear unit in use? If so what do you think of it?
