Pcv valve code 2003 5.4L

Had code read for misfire in engine said it was a bad pcv valve changed pcv valve misfire and code still present and check engine light is still on

Did it not occur to include the year, model and chassis of whatever you're working on? Did you clear the DTC's once your "repairs" were complete?

Its a 2003 Lincoln Navigator wit the 5.4L v8 and no I did not clear the codes doing it later today
