Welcome, Rango! Definitely a great project and a beautiful family! This is THE best resource to do what you're doing, so keep the updates and questions coming.
Going back with Abe Green for sure! Thanks for the warm welcome guys!
Hi Rango, if and when you are ready, I have the color mix info to make the Meadow Green. There are a few slight variations of the color that various paint companies have as their recipe. But the one that I used on my '49 has met the rigid criteria of approval of Abe himself, as well as the guys that showed up at the 2019 Central PA Truckstock. Not to mention the color gets the wild admiration of any gal at the gas station or Home Depot parking lot. You'd have to beat them away with sticks at times. "Love the color" is a very common unsolicited phrase.
Oh, and if you haven't guessed already, the meadow green is the subject of many comments and jokes here. All good natured of course. My F3 was originally red from the factory, then brush-painted blue as it looks in my signature photo then I got a color chip from Abe and had the truck painted green. No regrets other than the fact it's tough for a married guy to get away with giving rides to young attractive ladies.
Tom
Rango, here is a picture of my 55 F350, 54 F-100 and Tom's (Pinecone Ford) 48. There are slight differences in the Meadow Green although all three were mixed from the same paint chip. My two trucks were painted by the same body shop. My 55 matches Tom's 48 real well. My 54 is just a bit lighter in color.

Oh Man, they are gorgeous ! I can't wait to get mine back to it's original color. Leave some room in the driveway so I can pull in behind Tom someday.
If you do drive it to a Central PA mountain Truckstock at the Bald eagle State Park you'll find out that only two vehicles are permitted in each campsite. So we were in violation. And the stern Miss Park Ranger told us about it!
