Hi All
As I have not seen the truck I will be making an offer on in person (due to COVID) I am not sure it has a 7 pin plug in the bed for our truck camper.
Truck does not have camper pkg or any 5th wheel pkg.
It is a 2020 Laramie with Sport and FX4 pkgs.
Other than the bumper, will this truck have a 7pin harness near the cab? My Chevy has a harness between cab/bed that was perfect for TC.
While we’re at it, is there any fuse under the hood I need to add to get 12v going to the 7 pin for charging TC?
If it doesn’t have fifth wheel prep it will only have the 7 pin connector in the bumper. There is a company that makes a y cable and a kit to let you put another connector in the bed.

Look up Fairway Ford on Ebay they have the whole setup at good price. I added it on my 19 easy job to do. Good luck getting the puck style system from Ford I bought my truck in October and told dealer to put me down for one cause they are nationally backordered and still havent been told when I might get one. I canceled and installed a B&W myself.
No, that should be it. Make sure you do the dielectric grease, hit the other connections under there as well, including the back of the bumper 7 pin connector.
Yeah-that’s what i meant. So you purchase the aftermarket harness, plug it into the harness near the spare (shown in pic) and good to go?
Is there a fuse that must be added for 12 v power supply?
Thx
My understanding is the extra harness is wired in parallel to the rear bumper connector and uses the same fuses. As long as the rear bumper connector is working, should be good to go.
I added the 5th bed plug to my 2018 the instruction documented exactly where to plug in, (I think Jim above is correct). Ordered it from Tasca(in your back yard) and installed on a Saturday afternoon, easy.
The Ford part that got ordered for me you unplugged the connection for the bumper 7pin and plugged in there and it split and went up the side of the bed.
