07 Ford Edge electrical issues

Hello all
I have a 07 edge that sometimes does some wierd stuff. After I have driven the car and warmed it up, I turn to car off and hear a clicking coming from behind the gauge cluster and door locks wont even work. When yo go to restart the car it wont even make a sound and the a couple of tries later the car will fire up and act normal.
I have checked the battery voltage to be 12.5 volts and when started the alternator is working and putting out 14.4 volts. I haven't found any bad fuses. But it seems like it would be really strange for all these issues to be tied together, shy of a bad battery. I'm just not sure. I have tried searching with no success. Any ideas?
thanks in advance

Bad battery or a bad connection on one of the battery cables seems like something to check first. After you crank if over go out and feel for any warm feeling areas on the battery connectors and large wiring cables.
