Somebody wanted to inspect the flywheel's teeth ? If the owner was having starter engagement issues a shop might've done it to inspect the teeth on the flywheel ?

Hamfisted, thank you for your reply. I just realized that i put this in the wrong forum for navigators but im glad i did now because your response is something i haven't thought of.

Do you know if that is commonly done? They couldn't inspect the teeth from removing the cover? Should i rig up something to cover it?
