I’m looking at possibly buying a 2002 E350 7.3L van, I’d be spending about 2600 and the van has approximately 270k on the clock. It was a fleet vehicle, is there anything specific I should be looking for? Generally speaking what issues do people run into with these vans? Sorry if I’m beating a dead horse with this topic, I’m newer to the diesel world, thanks for any advice

Find out the transmission history/ health. Vans are known to have trans issues because of limited cooling and people tend to drive them like they are a honda accord.
Yeah I know everything is a lot more difficult with the van, and the transmissions are the main weak point. I’m mainly looking for a van instead of a truck because I’m looking to transport bikes and sleep in it. Idk why I’ve been bit by the diesel bug, but I want a diesel. I’m mechanically inclines, but have never worked on a diesel and would have to learn
