Drain DEF Tank?

Do you have an evacuator ? If the fill line to the Def tank is free from obstructions the evacuator will work in a few minutes.

1. Use that hand held transfer pump from Harbor Freight. I had a hard time getting the tube to go in so I was not able to pump anything out. Somebody mentioned cutting the front of the tube at angle to resemble a needle to help get the tube inside the def tank.

2. Remove the DEF tank. It's held by i believe 3 screws and a bunch of plugs. Pretty straight forward and you can more thoroughly clean the tank. Below are two videos I used for guidance. The 1st video goes over where the screws and everything are and the 2nd video touches up on what and where you need to unplug the lines. Good luck
