Add me to the nervous list, want to try a few things on my 2020 450 but dont want to mess anything up!
1st week of my 2018 F250 I did the raptor boot screen, windows up/down with fob, door/seat belt chimes disappeared, radio time out to 30
minutes, no panic alarm, lights only with lock...No issues at all!
You guys can do it! Just follow the tutorial, backup your modules so you can restore them if need be and take your time. I was a little leery of it as well but it went very smoothly. Used it to enable remote start and the associated options menu in the cluster on my XLT. Wish I’d done it sooner!
FORScan is easy-peazy...if you have enough computer skills to navigate the controls on this forum, you already possess the skills and tools needed to operate FORScan.
Your only regret will be that you will wish you had done this sooner!
I thought I had an issue with mine when I added the DPF% - but I believe my 3rd brake light camera just needs to be replaced. Last weekend I got a blurry picture through the camera leading me to believe its just a dud.
FWIW I bought the cheaper cable with the switch on it and it works fine.
Another member reported that the DPF% gave him a fuzzy image on the third brake light bed camera.
i put the DPF % on mine and my camera looks okay. In the spreadsheet it says some people had the camera disable, so gave very specific directions on what to change depending on what was there. You might check yours, if you don’t know what was there originally you can get the AsBuilt from Ford. There is a post on it, both the camera fuzzy post and the asbuilt directions are in the main ForScan posting.

I followed the directions on the FORscan sheet and switch out the characters to what they suggested. I'm not using that brake like camera so its not a big loss that this point, but I do like this to work as they should. I need to switch it back and see if that fixes everything.
