Broken accelerator mount on 56 COE
I have a broken accelerator bracket that mounts to the fire wall, on my 56 COE. Does anyone have any alternative replacement or have used part for sale?

Can you post a picture of it, I can see if ive got something close. Ive parted out a 54 COE years ago and a 39 COE and misc parts from a 46-47 COE.

Where yours is broken could it be welded?

If it is what I think it is, isn't it pot metal? I restored one from a pickup, along with the whole linkage. That one was pot metal.

TKAA-9725-B .. Accelerator Assy / Obsolete

1954/56 V8 C500/600/700/750/800/900 Cab Forward.

No Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any NOS, none on ebay.

I had to cut the rod, clean and chromate the bracket, clean the rod, weld it together, then plate and blacken it. It went on ebay , made it worth my while. There were 3 in the junkyard, this wasn't broken.
