I think I read somewhere that the vans continued to use the older fuel system longer than the pickups did? Which system do you have? What pumps did you replace? Have you checked the pressure at the fuel rail?

“Both pumps” doesn’t really answer any questions. You replaced the two in-tank pumps (dual tanks) or did you replace the one in-tank pump and the frame mounted pump? Did you check fuel pressure?

both pumps one in tank and the one on the frame and yes it has 40 lbs of pressure
Normal when not cranking with key in the run position and the NEG meter (DVM) lead to ground.
You need to put a NOID light on a injector while cranking or a LED test light on the non red wire of the injector while cranking.
I just got around to working on it again. My son and I were moving it to the parking area (so I could get in to my shop). This was the first time I had run it at night. Started it with starting fluid, but when I switched on the lights, it died. Long story short, dead battery (we charged it up and then moved it). During troubleshooting I noticed I was only getting 12.3 volts when running. So I jumpered 12v to the field but no change. Took the alternator to O'Riellies and they said it was bad. Put the new (rebuilt) unit in, and still only 12.3v (approx). Jumpered again, no change. I am thinking I may have had this issue since I bought the unit. I have been fighting the dead battery issue for a long time. I'm wondering if these two issues are related. I don't have a complete wiring diagram, so now I am tracing wires. Whoever built the RV did not follow wiring protocol. I started at the ignition switch (at the bottom where the plug is). They changed some of the wire colors on the other side of the plug. I have identified most of the wires coming out of the column. But I still would love to see a complete wiring diagram. Any thoughts?
