Installation was simple and fast. Power is incredible. Only drawback to the economy tune has a limit of 6000 lbs. of towing weight. I will probably change to the heavy towing tune to be able to tow our 11,000 pound 5th wheel. I also removed the maximum speed limiter.
Economy is 80 hp and 200 tq. increase to the rear wheels
Heavy towing is 60 hp and 165 tq. increase to the rear wheels.
I won't be driving much until my back is better, but I wanted to install this tune to let you guys know what I thought about it. I will give you guys my opinion after driving it for a couple weeks.
I already removed the economy tune and put in the heavy towing tune, do to most of my use for the truck is pulling our 5th wheel or race car. Our race car is 3000 lbs. and trailer probably 2000 lbs.
Our 5th wheel weighs 11,000 lbs. Economy tune has a recommended limit of 6000 lbs. towing.
I will leave this tune on and see if I like it. I am going to get gauges to keep an eye on egt's when towing. Even with the economy tune, the 80 extra horsepower is nice but not needed. The heavy towing power is only an extra 60 horsepower and 165 lbs. of torque, which again is nice, but not needed. Removing the top speed limiter was worth the price of the tuner itself.
It might be that in the future I will tow with the stock tune, but for now, I want to check it out and see how it handles exhaust gas temperatures.
If I wasn't towing I would leave the economy tune on.

I have DP-Tuner tunes from stock to performance (5 tune profiles with increasing HP ~ 100hp max gain) on the EZ-Lynk platform. After I bought the 16k behemoth, I flashed the Ford tune back on for a base line towing. The EGTs peaked out on the first sensor at around 1050-1100°F climbing a 5-6% grade from Carson City up to Tahoe (Spooner). I figured if Ford's calibration permitted these temps in stock form, it's a good max temp to stay under on that sensor. I'm sure that translated to around 1300-1450 at the manifold. When I installed the tunes, I run the stock or tow tune and just make sure I'm not running above 1050 for extended periods of time on the grades. Most of the time it's between 700-850 on flat roads at 65-70mph. Mileage is 8.5-10 average. I saw 7.5mpg with a strong head wind last summer and double towing (29k GCW). The 6.7L seem to run a lot hotter than the previous generation engines would.

Very good information, Thanks.
Pulling our Wildcat on level roads no wind at 60 mph we are getting 13.8 mpg in stock form. We will see with this tune.
