Torque converter quit locking

A few weeks ago (5000miles roughly) my torque converter quit locking up after I drove it a little ... no pretty damn hard for an hour cause I was late for work and it worked fine till I was going down a hill I would always let the engine hold me back as we descended and it never tried to lock up agian... the next day I had to go back to work and going up that same hill it started throwing a code (trans slip) but the transmission felt fine(hard shifting from the code) but no torque converter lockup after a couple thousand miles it quit throwing the code minus a couple rare occasions. I've tried bypassing the wiring and you can hear the solenoid clicking inside the transmission a very faint click but when driving you dont feel it or see any signs so I recently bought a bt scanner and using torque pro every pid was working but I couldn't see my torque converter slip I could see my trans temp but no matter what i tried the torque slip will not register just says 0rpm the whole time and I can tell you by the feel it is not 0rpm.

The most common cause of the slip code is a failed torque converter.

It could be a bad torque converter, leaking seals on the input shaft, a bad TCC solenoid (it can be bad even if it clicks,) or a stuck TCC control valve.
