Torque Converter Needed for a Ford-o-matic

I have a 1956 truck that came with a 272 and a Ford-o-matic trans. The fins in my torque converter are bad and so I'm being told it's not rebuildable and need a new one. Any ideas here? Does anyone have a good torque converter to sale?

I hope someone has one squirreled away somewhere.

Thanks.

Give these guys a call...Been around forever. Where I went when I was still rebuilding. Doesnt sound right to me...just got to find the right person. Memory serves me, That is the large case with bell, body and tailpiece all being cast...u aint grabbing that thing and carrying it away if it is the large case...thats why they went so good in the snow...tranny weighed more than the truck/car! LOL
