Hello all, 1st post here.

I have an 03 6.0 that was trouble free but just upgraded to an 11 6.7 F350 lariat. Truck is deleted and tuned. (was running tow tune) SCTx4
Just the other day, I remote started the truck because it was cold out, when I went outside only a few minutes later the truck was off. (wasnt enough time for remote start to time out)
I put the key in and re-started the truck which it started immediately but about 10 seconds later it shut off again... I repeated this several times.. always shut off after about 10 secs.
Its not like it is clonking out or stalling, its like I turned the key off.
Eventually, I got out the SCTx4 and changed the tune back to custom stock from the tow tune. After that the truck would stay running....
Now the next morning I did the exact same thing as above and had the same exact issue with it dying after 10 secs... So, I changed back to the tow tune and now it stays running.
It seems that resetting the PCM or something fixes the issue and that the stock remote start could be the cause. Or it could have something to do with it being cold out because i didnt have this issue until i didnt park it in the garage.
Does anyone have any thoughts on what could be happening? This is a new to me truck, 240,000 miles

- The only thing I have done is change the fuel filters which I did have a problem getting the truck to restart due to not having the O-ring lubed and the cap wasnt tight. Eventually I got it tight and purged air and drove several hundred miles since.

 

You have a problem with your tuner. Contact them.

 

I believe youre right, I have not had an issue since I havent used the remote start.

Do you figure the SCTx4 or the Custom Tune itself?

Would updating the SCT help?

 

It's either the tune as Scott said or remember, these trucks will shut down when the voltage gets to 11.4v..so you might also check the alternator.
